The talks should address the following questions (but not exclusively):
 

•  Theoretical foundations of natural and machine consciousness

•  Is machine phenomenology possible?

•  Will conscious machines perform better than “unconscious” machines?

•  Implementation issues of conscious systems.

•  Are models of consciousness useful for AI?

The symposium will be scheduled to provide extensive discussions and group interactions in which to present the current state of research and to discuss both the experimental result, the theoretical foundations of the emerging field of consciousness and their relationship with Artificial Intelligence.

Authors are encouraged to submit their work. A limited support is available for students.
